Design & Build Quality
The Infinix GT 10 Pro is just similar to the Nothing 1 in terms of build quality. It has a transparent back panel which allows you to see through the Motherboard alongside other components inside the device. The back cover is inspired by cyberpunk aesthetics, with LED lights that you can change and control.
If you are someone who has seen the Nothing 1 phone, you will be pretty much convinced that the designs look alike. The Infinix GT 10 Pro also comes with a quality protective cover which will help you grip the device better during gameplay.
One of the things that stands out about the GT10 Pro is its cool backlighting. It looks like Infinix took some inspiration from the Nothing Phone, but when you start playing with it, you’ll notice that it’s more similar to the back of a ROG Phone than a Nothing Phone.
The primary Lock on this device is an Under-display Fingerprint, but you can also use other options which include: Face ID, Pattern, and Password.
Display
The Display on the GT10 Pro is a 6.67-inch 10-bit Full HD Plus AMOLED display with a variable refresh rate of 60, 90, or 120Hz. Infinix said they worked together with the game developers of PUBG Mobile, Apex Legends, and Free Fire for an optimal gaming experience.
Processor, RAM & Storage
The GT10 Pro is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8050 Chipset, which is 6 nanometers Chipset. This phone also has a special graphics processor called Mali-G77 that has nine cores. It comes with 8GB of RAM, and you can even add another 8GB of RAM through Memory Fusion. The storage inside is 256GB, and if you need even more space, you can put in a memory card to expand it up to 1TB.
Software & UI
The software here is Android 13, Running on XOS 13. The phone’s user interface is nice and easy to use, with a neat and simple design.
The themes, like wallpapers and icons, have a gaming vibe to them. One good thing about this device is that there is no bloatware, so you won’t be getting all those unnecessary pop-up ads.
Battery Life & Charging
Powering the Infinix GT10 Pro is a 5000mAh battery, and it comes with a 45-watt fast charger that can charge the device from 0-100% in just 1 hour. While you’re in a gaming session, you can also enable bypass charging in the X Arena per battery.
Camera & Video Recording
The main camera produced good shots. Photos are clear and sharp; color reproduction is on the more saturated side, and even some night shots look great. For video recording, the main camera can shoot up to 4K at 30 frames per second. There is no optical image stabilization on this device, but the clips are very decent.
Verdict
The Infinix GT10 Pro is an impressive smartphone for gaming. While it might not be the absolute strongest in terms of power, it can handle most of the popular games without any problems. One of the reasons I love this device is the design with Cyberpunk aesthetics and the customizable LED indicator.
