The Apple iPhone 15 Plus is inheriting a lot of things from last year’s 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max, starting from the dynamic Island.
It’s a little bit expensive, but with the features I have seen so far, it’s definitely worth the amount you are paying for it.

Design & Build Quality
The major thing that I think a lot of people have been waiting for is the arrival of USB-C. The iPhone 15 Plus comes with a USB type C 2.0 charging port, which we have been expecting for a very long time.
It is very slim and sleek, measuring about 7.8mm in thickness and weighing 201g. Apple retained the aluminium frame in the previous models on the iPhone 15 plus, but you also get corning-made glass at the front and back.
It’s Rated IP68, which gives it protection against dust and water. Apple says it can handle being submerged into a water depth of 6m for about 30 mins.
Display
One of the standout features of the iPhone 15 Plus is the display. It comes with 6.7 inches Super Retina XDR OLED screen with HDR10 and Dolby Vision support. The brightness can reach up to 2000 peak nits outdoors, and you also get vibrant colors and sharp images.
The Ceramic Shield glass on the display also gives it an extra layer of protection against accidental drops.
Processor, Performance, RAM & Storage
The iPhone 15 Plus is powered by the Apple A16 Bionic chip, it is the same chipset on the iPhone 15 lineups last year excluding the normal iPhone 15 which came with the A15 Bionic. This chipset is still one of the most powerful chipsets out there, so performance is fluid on this device.
It comes with 6GB of RAM to keep things running smoothly, and you can choose between 128GB, 256GB, or 512GB of storage. No more worrying about running out of space for your photos and apps.
Camera & Video Recording
The iPhone 15 Plus comes with a dual-camera setup featuring a 48MP wide lens and a 12MP ultrawide lens. Expect top-notch photos and 4K video recording with Dolby Vision HDR.
The selfie camera is a solid 12MP too. You can take social media worthy photos with this device and upload them immediately, without editing.
Battery Life & Charging
It comes with 4383mAh battery as seen on the spec table above, which can last you through the day. we all know that Apple stopped including chargers in the box since the release of the iPhone 12 series, but the iPhone 15 plus and its brothers comes with a Type C to C cable in the box, but there is no charging brick.
Verdict
All of Apple’s new iPhones have USB-C charging instead of Lightning, which means you can finally use the same cable to charge your Mac, iPhone, or iPad if you have a newer model.
It should make things a lot easier, and I’m very excited because I don’t have to carry around my Lightning cable anymore.
