The Infinix Hot 11 is made from plastic. On the left side, it has a dual nano SIM card tray and a memory card slot. At the top, there’s nothing; moving to the bottom, it has a 3.5mm audio jack, a mic, a micro USB port, and a mono speaker. On the right side, the volume and power buttons are located.

At the rear, you’ll find the fingerprint scanner, using the fingerprint scanner to unlock this smartphone is fast. It isn’t the fastest for budget smartphones. The Infinix Hot 11 also has the face unlock feature, and unlocking the smartphone is relatively fast.

Display

It comes with a 6.82-inch 720p IPS LCD panel. The panel has a 90Hz refresh rate, which is something I wasn’t expecting for this price point. For those wondering what the 90Hz refresh rate means, well, to simplify things, scrolling on the 90Hz panel is smoother than scrolling on a 60Hz panel.

What’s it like consuming media on this smartphone? Well, the Infinix Hot 11 comes with a 720p IPS LCD display. It isn’t going to render the sharpest or the most vibrant videos like what you get on more expensive smartphones, but consuming media on this smartphone is okay.

Typing on this smartphone is also convenient because of the size of the display, and for those worried about the size of the display, it has a one-hand feature for easy reach.

Processor

The processor inside this smartphone is the MediaTek Helio G37 processor. Other countries like India get the G70 processor, but in Nigeria, the Hot 11 comes with a MediaTek Helio G37 processor. For multitasking, switching from one app to another is fast, and that’s because this smartphone comes with 4GB of RAM.

Gaming Performance

For gaming, well, let’s start off with PUBG. He played the game on balanced graphics and medium frame rate. The gameplay wasn’t that smooth, and I don’t see you winning any chicken dinners with this smartphone, except you’re playing with bots.

For Call of Duty, you play the game on low graphics and a high frame rate. The gameplay also wasn’t smooth. One game that runs well on this smartphone is Real Racing 3, and the gameplay is smooth on the smartphone.

For demanding games, the Infinix Hot 11 can’t really handle them, except if you put it on the lowest graphics setting. So if you’re a hardcore gamer and you want a budget smartphone that can play games well, I’ll recommend the Infinix Hot 10, which is a predecessor to the Infinix Hot 11.

Software

The Infinix Hot 11 comes with Android 11 with XOS version 8 Running on XOS 7.6, using the control center is a bit different from what most of us are used to. what I mean is swiping down from the left side shows you a notification, and swiping down from the right side shows you the control center.

You can’t disable or change it from the old way to see your notifications on the control center, which is a bummer. It’s also a bit confusing, and it takes a bit of time to get used to. One thing you should take note of is Smart Scene, and the news you get on there isn’t kid-friendly.

To disable this, press an empty area of the home screen, tap on the menu, tap on other settings, and disable the zero screen.

Special Features

It has Peek Proof that prevents people from seeing what’s on your screen. It has a Theft Alert that sounds an alarm when you remove the earpiece or the charging cable.

It does exclude that allows you to have two WhatsApp Instagram accounts running at the same time. With this, there’s no need to download WhatsApp on WhatsApp Business.

Camera

Now, let’s talk about the cameras on this smartphone. The Infinix Hot 11 comes with an 8-megapixel front-facing camera, and this is a sample. Sticking with the front camera, the camera kind of handles dynamic range.
