The Infinix Smart 6+ Plus comes with a good-sized display, a decent performance, and a strong battery life that won’t disappoint.
It is not expensive at this price point in my opinion, considering the specs and features it comes with. The only thing I don’t like about the Infinix Smart 6+ Plus is the fact that it doesn’t have fast charging, but that’s not a problem because it is hard to find any phone in this price range with fast charging.

Infinix Smart 6 Plus Price In Nigeria
The Infinix Smart 6+ plus price in Nigeria is around₦69,500. It comes with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal Storage with the option to expand with an SD card.
I didn’t have any expectations about the design because you can’t expect premium design quality or build at this price. The Infinix Smart 6 Plus has a very basic design, quite similar to the design we saw on the Infinix Smart 6.
Overall, this design is decent; it features a glass front and a plastic back and frame. It also comes in different colours like light green, ocean blue, polar black, and purple. There’s a dual camera and dual LED flash setup on the back, along with a fingerprint scanner for security. On the left side, there’s a dual SIM tray with a dedicated memory expansion slot, and on the right side, you’ll find the volume rocker and the power button.
At the bottom, we get a 3.5mm audio jack port, a mouthpiece opening, a micro USB port, and the down-firing speakers. Now, the speakers are really tiny sounding, but that’s common around this price range.
There’s nothing special about the display, aside from it being a huge display, as with other devices right now. The Infinix Smart 6 Plus boasts a 6.6-inch display with a waterdrop notch, a 20:9 aspect ratio, an HD+ (720×1612 pixels) resolution, and this is an IPS LCD display that sports a decent 500 nits in brightness.
The display is slightly better than the previous version in terms of color, and you would have no trouble streaming videos on YouTube as this smartphone is quite appropriate for mainstream media consumption, up to 1080p on YouTube.
Processor, RAM & Storage
The Infinix Smart 6 Plus is powered by the MediaTek Helio A22 processor, and it runs on Android 11. The CPU here is based on the MT6761 model and has four cores running at 2 gigahertz.
You get 2GB of RAM and 32GB built-in memory, which is not really large, but you can expand this using the memory expansion slot up to 128GB just like I said earlier.
You would be able to play simple games at a reasonable Frame rate. When it comes to gaming, the CPU on here can’t handle demanding games, so limit those expectations and play games like Subway Surfers instead.
Moving over to cameras, I had little expectations for the price; however, pictures taken on the Smart 6 Plus come out pretty decent. The notch on the phone houses a simple 8-megapixel camera for selfies and a single LED flash at the rear. There’s a dual-camera setup with an 8-megapixel main sensor and a QVGA sensor. The rear cameras can record videos at up to 1080p/30fps.
Because of the lighting and dual flash on this device, daytime photographs sticking with the rear camera seem good, but the selfie camera’s pictures are passable. It is pretty tough to take decent photos in low-light situations, and the camera lacks stability, so videos might seem a little bit shaky. But the camera and video shots are adequate for the money you’re paying.
Battery Life & Charging
The battery, in my opinion, is this device’s best selling point. It has a 5000mAh battery and a power-saving processor, so it can last you up to two days depending on your usage. The 10-watt charger that comes with the box of the smartphone charges the smartphone with no fast-charging capability, as it takes a while to charge up this device from 0-100%, roughly 3 hours.
I think the Infinix Smart 6 Plus is a good budget smartphone and I know you would also say the same thing after using it.
You have a good display, decent performance, and a strong battery life, which is the main selling point. It’s a decent entry-level option, so if you’re thinking of buying a suitable smartphone for your grandma or older relatives, this is a good choice. The battery life here is fantastic, and the cameras aren’t bad for what you’re paying.
