Design, Build Quality & Display
The Infinix Zero 30 5G is a well-designed phone, and it is available in 3 colours: Golden Hour, and Rome Green, which has a leather finish on the rear. The gold one has glass, and then there is also a Fantasy Purple. The Zero 30 5G is a very solid device that feels very comfortable to hold in the hands.
It’s slim, lightweight, and has a very nice-looking curved 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. The display is very bright for outdoor use, so you won’t have any problem operating the phone on sunny days.
Processor & Gaming
Powering this device is the MediaTek Dimensity 8020, which is a 6nm Chipset. It is close to the Dimensity 8050 in terms of performance.
This device will handle most of your popular titles with ease; PubG, Call of Duty, and Genshin Impact which is a graphic-demanding game all run smoothly on this device.
Camera & Video Recording
The Camera on the Infinix Zero 30 5G is the best Infinix has ever produced in my opinion. It has a better camera than the Infinix Zero Ultra, which is one of the camera-centric smartphones Infinix has ever produced. The Colours are very vibrant and accurate for videos and there is no overexposure
The 108-megapixel rear camera has optical image stabilization, so it can capture steady videos even while you are in transit.
The Infinix Zero 30 5G has a special video mode that can do two things at once. This helps Vloggers a lot. For example, when you make videos, sometimes you want to show your viewers something and talk to them at the same time.
You can record 4K videos @30/60fps, and 1080p videos @30/60fps from the rear camera, while the selfie camera can record 4K@30/60fps, and 1080p@30fp.
Software & UI
This device comes with XOS 13.1 running on Android 13, and there is little or no bloatware. Infinix didn’t say anything about software updates during the launch, but I’m sure this device will get at least 3 software updates and 3 years of security patches.
Battery Life
You get a 5000mAh battery which can up to a day and even more depending on your usage. The Infinix Zero 30 5G also comes with a 68-watt charging brick which charges this device very fast.
Verdict
This is the second time I’ve seen Infinix market its device with its camera capability. The first was on the 200MP camera on the zero ultra. Each time Infinix produces a camera-centric smartphone, they always deliver.
I recommend this device for content creators and aspiring content creators, it will give your content-creating journey a big boost.
