Redmi Note 12 Pro Plus Price In Nigeria
The Redmi Note 12 Pro Plus is probably everything you expect it to be, except a massive upgrade from its predecessor, and that’s not exactly a bad thing as it seems like the norm for a lot of devices these days – flagship included. Although you might find a few disappointments which may or may not influence your decision to pick up this one.

Build Quality & Display
The Note 12 Pro Plus 5G is a premium mid-range device, When you look at its build quality, it looks and feels like one. As a matter of fact, it reminds me more of the Poco F3 from about two years ago. It has Gorilla Glass 5 built on the display and rear. It Sports a gorgeous OLED display with Derby Vision, arguably the best display quality at its price.
RAM & Internal Storage
There is only one memory option for this region, and that’s the one with eight gigs of RAM and 256 gigs of storage. There’s no SD card slot, so if you’re one who requires more than 256 gigs of storage, you might have to consider other options.
Unboxing & Charging
For the unboxing experience, the Note 12 Pro Plus comes with the typical accessories that accompany Redmi devices. That’s pretty much a case and a charger.
It carries on the 120 watts charging from its predecessor. Redmi claims it charges from 0 to 100 in about 19 minutes, but it’s taking me 25 to 30 minutes to get a full charge. I had the same experience with the Note 11 Pro Plus 5G, but that’s still super fast by any means. 30 minutes is no joke. I just thought it would be faster.
The Note 12 Pro Plus adopts a more comfortable design, I’d say. Coming from the more boxy design of the 11 Pro Plus, this has curves on the edges, and to me, it’s more comfortable on the hands.
The black one is practically a mirror, and don’t even get me started on how it collects smudges, making you have to wipe it all the time if you end up using it without a case.
The camera bump has that matte finish I would have wanted on the back. I still miss that frosted glass finish on the white Note 10 Pro from two years ago – those were the good times.
Fingerprint Scanner
Xiaomi still maintains a side-mounted fingerprint scanner on the power button. Most people might prefer an optical one, but this is faster. I still prefer the one on the display though because I’m always triggering this side-mounted one unintentionally when holding the phone.
Processor
The Note 12 Pro Plus is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 1080 processor, which you can say is an improvement from the Dimensity 920 on the 11 Pro Plus, but you have the same processor on the more affordable Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G, making that one probably the best value for this series. Just to add, it’s not coming to this region officially.
The Dimensity 1080 is the same processor on Samsung’s A34, by the way, and for some reason, this gets higher benchmark scores, even though it has less RAM. But user experience is worth more than benchmark scores, and this is not a comparison video by all means. The Dimensity 1080 is solid for this price and gives you the performance you need.
