Redmi Note 13 Pro+ Plus Full Specifications
Design & Build Quality
The Redmi Note 13 Pro+ Plus is protected by a Gorilla Glass Victus both at the front and back, with an aluminum frame. It comes with an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance, which means you can submerge this device into a water depth of 1.5m for 30 minutes.
One of the things I like about this device is how slim the bezels are, and the fingerprint scanner is now on the display instead of the side.
It comes in 4 different colours that you can actually choose from; Black, White, Violet, and Camo Green.
The display is a 6.67 inches OLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1220 x 2712 resolution which looks very good.
It comes with Dolby Vision and HDR10+, and the Gorilla glass Victus protecting it is very tough, so the display will not easily break when the phone falls on the ground but make sure you get a phone pack to be on the safer side.
Processor & Multitasking
Powering this device is the MediaTek Dimensity 7200Ultra which has a similar performance as the Snapdragon 870. It is a very efficient chipset that can handle most of the things you are going to be doing with this device.
The one I have here is the variant with 16GB of RAM and 512GB, so multitasking is very smooth on this device and I think it stands tall when you compare it to some other devices in the same price range.
The camera on this smartphone is very good and Xiaomi is marketing it as one of its selling points. It comes with a 200MP main camera which takes quality pictures even in low light.
There’s also an 8MP camera that can take wide pictures, and a 2MP camera for close-up shots. If you like selfies, there’s a 16MP camera on the front for taking selfie pictures.
You can record 4K videos from the main camera at 24/30fps but not from the selfie camera. With the current specs of this device, I think it can handle 4K videos from the selfie and 8K videos from the Main camera, but I wonder why Xiaomi is limiting it to 4K for the main camera only while keeping the selfie camera at 1080p.
Battery Life Charging
The Redmi Note 13 Pro+ Plus comes with a 5000mAh, which can last you up to a day or more depending on your usage. To my surprise, it comes with a 120W Thunder Bolt charger which can take this device from 0-100% in just 19 minutes.
At this point, charging this device will not be a major concern to you as you can do that in just 19 minutes.
If we begin to consider the features of this device, I will actually say Xiamoi is selling it at an affordable price. The 200MP main camera, 120W fast charging, and the Dimensity 7200 Ultra chipset which is very efficient all in one.
I know that specs don’t actually tell the whole story, but the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ Plus is actually one of the best devices you can get at this price point right now.
