Design & Build Quality

Just like I said earlier, we have the Stardust silver variant as well as the Meteor blue colour. The Stardust silver looks more striking with its mirror type of finish that reminds me of the Galaxy Note 10+Plus.
It is a bit of a fingerprint magnet but the back finish and the minimal camera module give this phone a nice look.
This device is made of plastic all around which might not go well with some people, because there are other devices in this price range that are made of more premium materials.
While plastic may not feel as premium as some other materials like glass or metal, it does have its advantages, such as being lightweight and more durable in some cases.
Samsung Galaxy F54 is Very sleek with a thickness of 8.4 mm. This slim design makes it comfortable to hold in one hand.
It also comes with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, which is fast, and offers a convenient and secure way to unlock the device.
Display & Haptics

The F54 comes with a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED Plus display with a 120Hz refresh rate just like most Samsung phones this year. It’s smooth and responsive, it has HDR support in videos and in apps like Netflix.
Videos look very good on this panel with punchy colors and deep blacks. This display is bright enough for outdoor usage, with about 800 nits of brightness. I really like the haptics, it has an upgraded linear motor and the feedback is soothing.
Camera & Video Recording

Apart from the display and design, there are two other things I like about the Galaxy F54. One is the cameras.
It comes with a 108MP primary camera with OIS, along with an 8MP ultra-wide angle lens and a macro camera. On the front, there is a 32MP selfie camera.
I like the fact that the F54 comes with a lot of cool camera features including some that I used on the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra flagship.
You can record 4K videos using the selfie camera and the quality is good, which is actually great because no other phone in this price segment has 4K video front recording.
You can switch between the main camera, the ultra wide angle camera, and the front camera while shooting videos, although this is limited to 1080p.
The 108MP main camera takes good pictures. In daytime, the F54 photos look rich in terms of colours and I also like the dynamic range as well as the details these photos have. The low-light photos are also fairly good.
The portrait mode photos have good edge detection, the blur is nice and the details are fine. The 32MP selfie camera does a good job with details and exposure.
Software & UI

Another thing I like about the F54 is the software. it comes with the latest OneUI 5.1 update on top of Android 13 and we all know how Samsung has been in terms of updatesand the F54 is no different.
Samsung’s promised 4 OS updates for this phone along with 5 years of security patches which is the best you can get at this price point.
Processor & Performance
The Samsung Galaxy F54 is powered by the Exynos 1380 processor, which is a 5nm chipset and it’s something we have seen in the Samsung Galaxy A54 too. The performance of the Exynos 1380 is somewhat close to the Snapdragon 778G plus.
There’s no lag while scrolling or launching apps, and the RAM management is good. As for gaming, I noticed that not all games support the highest graphics settings but the gameplay is smooth and nice even after long hours of gaming.
The battery here is a 6,000mAh Li-PO battery that supports 25W fast charging, but there is no charger in the box. The battery can last up to 2 days on average use, you might get less than that if you are a heavy user.

Verdict
The best thing about the Galaxy F54 is that it does not have any major downside at this price. But there are so many stand-out features that you can’t actually see in other devices in the same price range with it.
In my opinion, the Galaxy F54 is a very solid device and I recommend it to you. Let me know what you think about this device in the comment section.
