Infinix Zero 30 5G Price In South Africa

The Infinix Zero 30 5G is being marketed by Infinix with its Vlogging capabilities, but apart from the camera capabilities, I still think that this Smartphone is beautiful.

It comes with a curved display, and I think it has the best refresh rate of all smartphones I have managed to have access to this year.

It comes in 3 beautiful colors; Rome Green, Golden Hour, and Fantasy Purple with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal memory that is not expandable. But the RAM can be expanded through Memfusion to more additional 9GB of RAM.

Design & Build

When you first pick up this smartphone, you’ll notice how light it is. It’s made from high-quality materials. The front glass is curved and protected with strong Corning Gorilla Glass 5.

The frame is made of plastic, and the back is also glass or leather depending on the colour you are buying. As for its resistance to water and dust, it has an IP53 rating, which means it can handle some splashes of water.

One thing that impresses me about this smartphone is its slim design. It’s comfortable to hold and easy to use. At just 190g, it’s one of the lightest smartphones I have used this year.

The stereo speakers on this Smartphone are good, the bass is not that much, but the treble is good, and it’s loud.

The volume rocker and the power buttons are located on the right-hand side, while the SIM card tray is located at the bottom.

The Fingerprint scanner is located on the display, just like so many other mid-range devices from other brands.

Display

The Infinix Zero 30 5G has a 6.7-inch Curved AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080p and a refresh rate of 144Hz. No other mid-range device has this type of smooth scrolling I experienced on the Infinix Zero 30 5G. When I compare the refresh rate, I can clearly notice the distinction. The Infinix animation appears slightly smoother.

At 950 nits, the brightness of this device is on par, so you don’t need to worry about creating content outside with it, you will not have any problem Interacting with this device outdoors.

Processor & Gaming

The Infinix Zero 30 5g is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8020 chipset, which is a fast processor in the mid-range smartphone category. However, it’s not as fast as the MediaTek Dimensity 8050 chipset, which came with Infinix Note 30 VIP.

The phone has a Mali G77 MC9 GPU. I tried playing PUBG at HDR graphics and Ultra frame rates, and it performed quite well. The gameplay was smooth without any issues, but the phone became warm, even though it has a liquid cooling system.

When I switched to playing Call of Duty, I set the graphics to very high and the frame rate to maximum. The gameplay was smooth, and I liked the sensational vibration from the haptic feedback during gaming.

Software & Special Features

The Infinix Zero 30 5G runs on Android 13 with XOS version 13.1.0, and it’s working smoothly without any problems. It has some new features, like the ability to connect to your PC and show your phone’s screen on your computer. You can also transfer files between your phone and PC without using transfer cables.

There’s a feature called “mobile anti-theft.” If you turn it on, and someone tries to unlock your phone incorrectly two times in a row, the phone will take pictures of that person. You can then see those pictures probably by logging in to your Infinix cloud.

Camera

The Infinix Zero 35G has a 50-megapixel front camera that takes nice photos. When you use it indoors, the skin tones may not look perfect, but the photos are clear.

Outdoor pictures look natural and capture lots of details, which is great. When taking portrait shots, the camera does a good job of making the subject stand out, although it can sometimes miss the mark. There’s also a feature that lets you take wider selfies, but the quality of the image isn’t as sharp.

It has a 108-megapixel main camera and a 13-megapixel ultra-wide camera. There’s also a 2-megapixel depth camera, but it doesn’t take pictures like the other cameras do.

Battery Life

The Infinix Zero 35G has a 5000-milliamp battery, and based on my usage, the battery life is impressive. As for charging time, it took 48 minutes to fully charge the smartphone from zero to 100%.

Verdict

The design is nice, and I like the fact that it has Corning Gorilla Glass 5 for protection. The curved 3D display looks is very fine and sensitive but when you play games, the phone gets hot, even though it has a special cooling system.

I’m not worried because this device is a camera centric smartphone. If you actually want a gaming phone, you can Buy the Infinix GT 10 pro which is a dedicated gaming phone that was released by Infinix.

The battery and how fast it charges are both really good, like what you woould expect from every top-notch smartphone.
