The Prices listed above are subject to change, and these might not be the lowest prices out there. So it always good you check prices different stores both online and offline before making a purchase.

Build Quality & Design

The Infinix Zero X pro Weighs 193g, it is a light smartphone and easy to carry around. It’s boxy and has rounded corners, just like the iPhone 12, or should I say, the iPhone 13. With a display size of 6.67 inches, it’s really easy to operate with one hand.

The Infinix Zero x Pro has a 3.5 mm audio jack, a mic, a USB Type-C port, and a mono speaker that can be easily blocked if you are playing games. The speaker is loud, it’s got some treble but lacks a bit of bass. On the left side, it has a dual nano SIM card and memory card tray, and it’s a 4G smartphone. At the top, there is nothing, on the right side, that’s where you’re going to find the volume keys and power buttons.

The fingerprint scanner is fast but not as fast as the side-mounted fingerprint scanner on the Infinix Zero X. The face unlock feature is present on this smartphone. It’s fast but not as secure as the fingerprint scanner.

Display Type, Size & Refresh Rate

The Infinix Zero x Pro is a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 by 2400 pixels. The display has a 120Hz refresh rate and a 240Hz touch sampling rate that makes scrolling and touch response fast on this smartphone. The display is colorful, vibrant, and bright, and according to Infinix, the Infinix Zero x Pro display has a peak brightness of 700 nits.

the 6.67-inch display is good for consuming media content, especially YouTube videos. The 16-megapixel camera punch hole isn’t all that big and it doesn’t distract you. It actually fades away when you start watching something really interesting.

The colors are very good on this display, as it is a 1080p AMOLED display. This display supports HDR10 and HDR HLG, but when watching HDR videos, the colors don’t get as contrasty and vibrant as other displays within its price category.

Processor, Performance, RAM & Multitasking

As for performance, the Infinix Zero x Pro is powered by the MediaTek Helio G95 processor. Infinix says it’s a dual-chip flagship gaming processor, and that’s because it has an intelligent display chip, which is designed to give it maximum power and performance.

The Infinix Zero x Pro is a very capable budget smartphone, and for multitasking, it comes with eight gigabytes of RAM, Through a software update, you will be able to expand the RAM to 11 gigabytes through what Infinix is calling Memory Fusion Technology.

Basically, what that means is if you have enough storage space, you will have the option to use your storage as RAM. Presently, with the 8GB of RAM, multitasking on this device is impressive, and it will get even better once the option to expand the RAM is available.

Gaming

The Infinix Zero X Pro played PUBG on HD graphics and a high frame rate. The gameplay was actually very good; it played the game at around 30 frames per second. It has a gyroscope that works for those that play with that feature.

The display size is actually perfect for PUBG, and the only thing is the mono speaker can be easily blocked, and that would hinder your gaming experience. As for the temperature, well, the smartphone got a little bit warm, which is normal.

Now moving on to Call of Duty, the Infinix Zero x Pro played it at very high graphics and a very high frame rate.

Software & UI

It comes with Android 11 with XOS Dolphin version 7.6. A little bit in, Infinix told us that this smartphone will get the Android 12 update, so that’s a good step in the right direction. I’m also pleased to let you know that I didn’t get any ads on this smartphone; what I got were notifications from apps that you can actually uninstall. For bloatware, I counted 14 of them, and luckily, you can uninstall most of them.

Smart Voice Assistant

There is a Special feature on the Infinix Zero X Pro, which is the Infinix Smart Voice Assistant. It can assist you with calling someone, playing music, navigating, setting up an alarm, etc., and it doesn’t need an active internet connection to work.

Camera Specs

The Infinix Zero x Pro has a 16-megapixel front-facing camera. Sometimes, it takes very good pictures and other times, it takes pictures that are slightly out of focus or lack a bit of detail. Now, portrait shots in good lighting conditions, take good pictures, and in not-so-good lighting conditions, they just transform the way your face looks.

You can’t turn off the beauty mode that smoothens your face, which is unfortunate. Now outdoors, it helps in exposing your face and the sky, but you need to turn on HDR mode for it to work properly, and it also looks like my face isn’t in focus.

Now moving to the rear cameras, the Infinix Zero x Pro comes with a 108-megapixel camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and an 8-megapixel periscope camera. The primary camera is impressive; the colors look very good, and it takes sharp pictures. The portrait shot on the primary camera is impressive.

The 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera isn’t all that impressive. The colors don’t match with the main camera, the photos look a bit dull and lack details when zoomed in.

You can use the 8-megapixel periscope camera to take pictures and videos of objects that are far. It goes from 5x all the way to 60x zoom, and it takes good-quality pictures.

Battery Life & Charging

In the battery department, the Infinix Zero x Pro comes with a 4,500-milliamp battery. You will get around 6 hours of screen-on time with this smartphone. It took 95 minutes to charge from 0 to 100%, which is fast. Thanks to the 45-watt fast charger it comes with in the box.
